Barbara Biro LAc completed a rigorous 4+ year Master program at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA) Graduate School of Integrative Medicine with over 1000 hours of clinical experience. She is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is Licensed in the state of Texas.
Barbara also practices Medical Qigong which is a needle-free approach to healing within the Traditional Chinese Medicine framework. Barbara brings a unique balance to her healing work believing strongly in the efficacy of this spiritual/energy approach to healing with Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
A meditator with a BS in Engineering (Thermodynamics) and active intuitive gifts, she creates a blended left brain - right brain approach in all of her treatments. In 1998 Barbara was called to Reiki. It was the perfect extension of her natural ability with hands-on healing and her love of energy. Continuing her certifications to the Master level and then to Teacher, she lovingly offers this miraculous gift of Reiki to others.
In addition, she shares over 30 years of practical experience and knowledge in Herbal Remedies and Nutrition in her teaching and practice.
